Tile colours, formats, pattern, designs, layouts, and prices can be overwhelming, but with these few simple tips and some careful consideration it doesnt have to be.

Next Consider how the tiles will be laid. Here the subway tiles are brick pattern. You could also Straight lay them for a more modern look. Also in regards to pattern you may want to use this on the floor for a wow feature.
Do you want contrast or plain. If plain consider playing with a simple pattern for a little interest. A splash back tile colour the same as the benchtop is always flawless.
Kitchen splash backs are a major feature so really give this some consideration. Its going to be there a long time and you need to look at it all day every day and so does everyone that comes to your home. Find visuals and use pinterest.
Are you game enough to use a feature colour? If so keep it soft and classic. Choose where carefully. Remember the eye needs somewhere to rest so keep the other elements in the space neutral.
Dont be afraid of charcoal. Its a neutral colour. These floor tiles have been nicely matched with the stone bench tops. The stone has been also used as the splash back.
